Nothing like this in the world
I hate how now Brooklyn is considered “cool”. When one who is not native to the area, one would believe the entirety of Brooklyn is Williamsburgh, Park Slope, Green Point, Brooklyn Heights, and all the areas in north Brooklyn. Everyone forgets there is a LARGE part of Brooklyn south of those areas that is actually Brooklyn not a warped version of Manhattan. Brooklyn is separate, and I hate when I mention I live in Brooklyn, and people ask me where, because they “know so much about Brooklyn”. When I tell them where I live they have NO idea. All the hipsters up there give a fake idea of Brooklyn. It makes me so sick. In their minds every street has a coffee shop, and a record store, with bars on the corners. Don’t say you are a Brooklyn-ite unless you’ve lived here for several years and have explored outside your bubble.
